I’m planting in some Grow Boxes this year. These boxes have been under my shed for a while I just haven’t tried planting in them yet. These were my grandfather’s. It is from him my love of the garden came from. So I feel honored to grow in these planters this year and I know I must grow some tomatoes.
You see tomatoes are my favorite. It is from my grandfather I feel this love was developed. In the summertime he would slice and peel a plate of tomatoes at every meal. Unless they’re fresh tomatoes I really don’t have this desire for them but a fresh tomato in the summer is special.
I’ll try to share in the coming weeks how these Grow Boxes do. I’ll also be sharing how my tomatoes do this year and if I have any success. I’ve got tomatoes growing in these planters and in the ground right now.
