Rooting Tomato Cuttings (Part 1)

For the past few weeks I have been doing an experiment with tomatoes. Particularly I’ve been trying to root the cuttings. On a tomato plant if you do not know there are usually suckers growing between the branches. A lot of people recommend pruning these off. I decided to let them grow a bit on the plant before taking them then rooting the cuttings. Over the next few weeks I’ll be posting how the plants rooted and then hopefully I will have an update on them later this season.

I see two suckers in this photo.
