Sunday morning at church our worship team led the church in a worship song I’ve not listened to in years. I thought you might get some encouragement from it this morning as well. When listening to this I was taken back to a time when as a teenager and at a weekend retreat with our youth group at Beech Springs Baptist Camp near Smackover, AR. At this retreat we had a special moment in worship I remember. I do not remember if we sang this song but do remember the moment with my God in the worship service and this song reminded me of the moment.
Let’s all Shout To The Lord together because as we’re reminded here Nothing Compares To The Promise We Have In You!
What promise? The promise of eternal life with our heavenly father through the gift of God – his son, Jesus.
I believe salvation is as easy as ABC. Admit You’re A Sinner, Believe Jesus Is Lord, Call Upon His Name (Confess).
for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. Romans 3:23-24
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16
If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9
