A Ride Around The Delta: Cardinal On Fence

Today I’m going to start a Muddy Water and Cypress Trees series by looking back on some of my favorite photographs and the story that goes along with it.

First let’s ride through the delta of Southeast Arkansas. It was the end of January 2016. The Mississippi River had flooded and pushed quite a few whitetail deer outside the levee. I drove over to Chicot Lake State Park in Lake Village, Arkansas to see the scene. On my drive I saw this Cardinal sitting on a wooden fence and snapped some pictures. Now the Cardinal is a special bird to my family and I enjoy seeing them. This picture has become one of my favorites and the drive around the delta in 2016 will always be a great memory.

I have a few other wildlife photographs I’ll share from this drive next week then we’ll take a look at the whitetail deer photos after that.

I want to say thanks for stopping by to read my ramblings. To say thanks more I have a few free phone wallpapers here.

Please do me a favor, if you enjoyed the post please share it with a friend.

Thank So Much! -Michael
