Chasing The Roseate Spoonbill – Whitetail Deer Pictures (Part 2)

Today I’m continuing with my series of posts of my going after taking photos of the Roseate Spoonbill Bird. Still no photo yet but will keep trying and will share photos from my trips out here. I believe I saw one flying the other day at Choctaw Island Wildlife Management Area (WMA) West Block but was not close enough for a photo. I went back a few days later to the same spot on Choctaw to try and get closer to the spot I believe I saw it flying. As I was watching some wading birds a whitetail deer stepped out giving me some opportunities for photographs.

As I was walking back to my truck I saw a few more deer. One of the deer was not in the least bit worried about me and allowed me to take several photographs of her eating on the side of the road. I thought these were a neat set of photographs with the setting sun coming from the right side of the pictures plus the deer that let me get pretty close.

If you look closely you can see the deer on the side of the road from this photo taken with my phone
