If there’s one part of the garden that’s a must for me it is fresh tomatoes. The part that is challenging but very enjoyable to me is seed starting. With tomatoes you can find some very unique varieties if you buy the seed and start them yourself instead of buying at the store plus you can grow later in the year than just spring/summer. I mentioned these starts a few weeks ago but today they’re really looking good. I have started them on some weaker mix of 20-20-20 liquid fertilizer from Hoss Tools. With seed starting I enjoy the fact that I can grow outside the usual gardening season. I have never tried late/fall tomatoes before but I am looking forward to seeing how these do.
