Pollinator Patch

For today’s garden update I was planning a new project but with the heat wave we are in right now I’ve decided to wait. Since there’s not much going on in my garden right now I decided another look at my pollinator garden was good. I like this patch because there seems to always be something going on in it. I noticed some beans really doing good out there this time. In the listing for this seed mix from Green Cover Seed are two beans, Black Beans and Mung Beans. These resemble some picture I’ve found of Mung Beans but since they are black I guess it could be the black beans. You’ll notice in the picture with the sunflower the taller plants growing. These are called Sunn Hemp. I’ve grown this before as a cover crop, it should be blooming shortly.
