Chasing The Roseate Spoonbill – Walking (Part 7)

I am still trying to get a picture of a Roseate Spoonbill but as I’ve said it’s hot! I thought it cooled off enough the other day to do some walking at Cane Creek State Park. I went to the East side of the lake and decided to walk where I’ve not been to before, the northeast corner of the lake along the levee. Let me just say I got hot and was glad to be back at my truck in the A/C. I drove down by the ramp on the east side and saw a bird I tried to get a photograph of but could not get one. Here’s the photos from the walk I did get.

I did see a bird at a distance and did snap a photo of it. I really figured I’d see a few more birds on this walk but did not on this outing. Once again, no Roseate Spoonbill on this trip but I’ve got a few more trips to look at in the coming weeks. Up next is another walk where I thought it was cooler but was wrong! I talked to a friend about this walk and they could not believe I attempted it.

I want to say thanks for stopping by to read my ramblings. To say thanks more I have a few free phone wallpapers here.

Please do me a favor, if you enjoyed the post please share it with a friend.

A poster with one of my favorite photos can be purchased here.

Thank So Much! -Michael
