Then Sings My Soul…

This past Sunday our worship team lead the church in How Great Thou Art. I cannot tell all the times this song have touched my life but it is a lot. It is in the outdoors that I see my God’s handiwork the most. It may be in the song of a songbird, a sunrise or sunset, a storm…the list goes on and on. I think that’s why I really enjoy night sky photography there’s just something about watching the Milky Way rise or a meteor shower rain down.

To tie my recent reading with this moment in worship I finished the Revelation Unveiled book last night. The last few verses of Revelation says, He who testifies to these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus. The grace of the Lord Jesus be with God’s people. Amen. – Revelation22:20-21. For me seeing this picture of the Milky Way, worshiping with How Great Thou Art, and reading the end of Revelation makes me say, “Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.”

I’m just rambling on all this, my thoughts may not be too complete but let me encourage you listen to How Great Thou Art, and if you are a reader read Revelation and the next clear night you see go outside and just watch the stars for a few.

I believe salvation is as easy as ABC. Admit You’re A Sinner, Believe Jesus Is Lord, Call Upon His Name (Confess).

for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. Romans 3:23-24

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16

 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9
