On Labor Day weekend I decided to go back to Choctaw Island West Unit where this all began to walk around some more. Again, I thought it was a bit cooler than it actually was. Thankfully I packed some extra water for this walk. I walked to unit 7 where I first saw a Roseate Spoonbill and here’s what I saw:
Yep, nothing! I did see the young gator again so I snapped a few photographs of it.
A co-worker that’s done a lot of work around Choctaw says earlier in the year there were three of these young gators in this hole. I decided to walk around Unit 7 just to see it all. There’s not much shade out there but as I found it I’d sit down under a small tree and drink water to cool off. Once again I was thankful to be back at my truck and stopped in McGehee, AR for something cold to drink!
I want to say thanks for stopping by to read my ramblings. To say thanks more I have a few free phone wallpapers here.
Please do me a favor, if you enjoyed the post please share it with a friend.
Thank So Much! -Michael
