Chasing The Roseate Spoonbill – On The River (Part 9)

I took my 10 year old son, Nicolas, over to Choctaw Island to walk around and look for the spoonbill bird. He loves playing around the Mississippi River so we walked a bit around the bank of the river then headed home. I really didn’t get too many pictures on this outing but had a great time with him. Of course there were some wading birds at the barrow pits coming into the Choctaw Island WMA – East Unit.
