One thing you might see here is I like trying stuff. I noticed a few weeks ago a sprouted plant coming up from my house foundation, I believe it is a rose. For most of the time we’ve lived in this house there’s been tall shrubs growing on this end of our house but we had those pulled up earlier this year. So I’m guessing the sunlight helped this to come up.
I tried to pull it out but it broke. I stuck the plant (broken) into a pot of soil and covered it with a clear plastic cup for humidity and hoped it would grow roots. I water the plant a couple times a week and the shelf I have it sitting on gets good morning sunlight. It seems to be doing good so far. I’ll probably leave the cup over it for a bit longer and hopefully it continues to grow through the fall and survive.
I noticed this morning the original plant by the house had already sprouted again so I might try it again, stay tuned for more randomness from Michael (hopefully it is a rose plant)!
