A Drive Along The Mississippi River (Part 2)

In the summer of 2012 I seemed to continually hear of a low Mississippi River so I took a drive over that way to take a look myself. On this drive I went from Arkansas City down to Lake Village. Over the next few days I’ll share some pictures from this drive. This will be a lot of the same areas I visited on my quest for pictures of the Roseate Spoonbill. Now here’s my disclaimer: these aren’t the best photos but ones of an interesting drive to me.

The next part of this drive will be to Choctaw Island Wildlife Management Area at Arkansas City. The barrow pits when you first enter Choctaw Island are always a great spot for a few pictures!
