I mentioned the other day I’m reading The Awe Of God by John Bevere. In this morning’s reading of the book he mentioned several stories from the bible where things just did not make sense at the time but it became an “Oh” moment. Moments such as Jesus turning water into wine. It made no sense to fill the wine jars with water but afterwards “Oh this is this best wine” moments after. Or at Jericho it made no sense to walk around the city for six days but then on the seventh day when they walked and blew the trumpets the walls came down and it was “Oh, our God was at work”.
Its in these moments of faith that I struggle. There’s so many times I think this makes no sense but after some time and after looking back it’s usually an “Oh” moment.
