One of my favorite spots in the summertime is Warren Prairie Natural Area just west of Monticello on the Drew/Bradley County line. I’ve posted a few other times of trips over there. I enjoy the wildflower photos I get over there.
As I’ve mentioned before I enjoy a trip to the mountains but there is something special about a trip to somewhere close and Warren Prairie is close. My favorite photo from the morning is of a mushroom that was growing next to the road where I parked. I ended up taking several wildflower photographs also at this spot. I then started to drive home but was stopped by another beautiful spot. I got out and took some photographs but then wanted some zoomed in photographs and realized I had forgotten my zoom lens in the truck so I went back for it then snapped a few more shots.

Please leave me a comment, which is your favorite photograph from this trip?
Thanks so much for stopping by to read my ramblings! I have a few requests:
- Please consider subscribing if you’d like to be notified of when I post again.
- Share with a friend.
These three items help me to know if I am doing this right. A comment (good or bad) helps me to know what’s working and what’s not.
Thanks!
