Out and About In South Arkansas…A trip to Lake Monticello

I’ve posted a lot about Lake Monticello. We spend quite a bit of time out there as it’s close to my house. I’ve been on Lake Monticello when its been at full pool, being emptied, empty, and now filling back up.

I went out to Lake Monticello the other morning before work to take some photographs. My goal was to get a sunrise photograph but there was rain moving in so I snapped a couple of of photos in the cloudy weather then headed to work.

(Spoiler Note: I went back a couple days later and did get a sunrise photo that I’ll post next week.)
