This is my weekly summary of posts made this week plus a few extra parts.
This Week’s Posts:

I am in a challenge with my friend to grow the tallest sunflower. This is my second post one of the challenge.
Word Of Encouragement This Week:
My favorite moment in scripture are the “but” moments. I didn’t catch it until later but in last week’s scripture of John 16:33 there’s a “but”. We can have hope in our savior, Jesus Christ if we place our faith in him. He’s overcome the world! “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” -John 16:33
I listened to the below message a few days ago by Levi Lusko preaching at San Quentin prison. In it he mentions four “But Now” moment from scripture.
My favorite scripture from this message is: “But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead…” – 1 Corithians 15:20. I do not need to forget John 3:16: “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
I believe in a risen savior, Jesus.
Do you know him, he defeated the grave? His name is Jesus…
I believe salvation is as easy as ABC. Admit You’re A Sinner, Believe Jesus Is Lord, Call Upon His Name (Confess).
for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. Romans 3:23-24
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16
If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9
Song Of Encouragement This Week:
For when I get frustrated I need to remember My God Can.
I Might Not Be Able To…
My Favorite Photograph This Week:

BJ’s Stump Removal Recommendation:
I know what you’re thinking with this photo, “It’s just dirt, a mower and garden tiller” Yes it is now. But I did not take a photo of the before but there were three stumps right here. You see I had a lean-to shed built to keep my mower and stuff under but there were three small trees growing back here. When the shed was built the trees were cut with the stumps as low to the ground as possible with a chainsaw. I finally got tired of tripping over them everytime I went to mow so I called my friend BJ at BJ’s Stump Removal . He told me he would work the project into his schedule. I told him that was more than ok since I wasn’t in a big rush. I believe he got them chipped up in a week, way faster than I expected. Now no more tripping and worrying about maneuvering around stumps when I park my mower. If you have stumps of any size please give BJ a call, his website says he serves “Little Rock, Pine Bluff, Camden, El Dorado, Monticello & surrounding communities.”

Michael Gilbert: This blog is a personal project of ramblings from me on a variety of subjects. In suggestion articles I’ve read on creating a blog everything suggests creating a niche type subject for everything but this blog is a summary of my life which has a bunch of moving parts. I was unable to decide on an area of life to focus this blog on so I went with many subjects. Sorry if my ramblings are too scattered for you!
If you’re curious on who this rambling redneck from south Arkansas is you can read my story here.
Thanks for stopping by to read my ramblings!

I eagerly expect and hope that I will in no way be ashamed, but will have sufficient courage so that now as always Christ will be exalted in my body, whether by life or by death. -Philippians 1:20 (NIV)

Wish to support future content here on my blog? I have this beautiful canvas print available for purchase:

- Share with a friend.
These three items help me to know if I am doing this right. A comment (good or bad) helps me to know what’s working and what’s not.
Thanks!
