Garden and Lake Monticello Update

The first post for this week will have two sections. I try to plan out my posts ahead of time. As I had the posts for this week plans changed.

Lake Monticello Update From The Air

My friend Bennie Ryburn sent me the below update pictures of a recent flight he made over Lake Monticello. I’m really liking to see the changing water line and recent uptick in usage.

Thanks Mr. Ryburn!

While we’re talking about Lake Monticello today, let me say again: I’m excited to see our lake getting use again!

Now back to my original planned post for today. I had my first favorite pest the other day out in the garden, a Tomato Hornworm. Have you had any luck controlling these things? I have not for sure! I was out in the garden a few evenings ago looking at my tomatoes when I looked down and spotted this thing!

I also want to update on my favorite tomato which I’ve mentioned a few times. The Sungold! I got my first one the other day and have quite a few coming right now.

Thanks so much for stopping by to read my ramblings! I have a few requests:

  • Please consider subscribing if you’d like to be notified of when I post again.
  • Share with a friend.

These three items help me to know if I am doing this right. A comment (good or bad) helps me to know what’s working and what’s not.

Thanks!
