Sunflower Challenge (Post 3)

I’ve mentioned a few times now a challenge I have with my friend Robbie at the Wild Huckleberry on who can grow the tallest sunflower.

The Sunflower I thought would be my tallest is a Skyscraper variety from Hoss Tools. For whatever reason it did do as well as I hoped. I have some other Skyscrapers that are doing better. A few weeks ago we had a storm which blew the plant over so I staked it but it was done growing at the time and has since started to turn brown. I do not have updated pictures of it but it’s done. Hopefully, I’ll have some taller ones soon.
