In life I enjoy getting to take a photograph especially of wildlife. I keep my camera most days in my backseat (except for this post from last week). The other day I was driving to a doctor’s appointment which is near my office. I passed a deer on the side of the road and after passing it I thought it would be a neat photograph but as I mentioned I was on the way to a doctor’s appointment. I finally talked myself into grabbing my camera from the backseat and going back sine I had a few minutes to spare. Here’s what I got…
Yep, nothing! By the time I got turned around and my camera from the backseat the deer was gone. So I turned around again….
When I turned back around I spotted some more deer! Nothing exceptional but since I had my camera in the front seat I snapped a few pictures before heading to my appointment.
In photography I’m learning it’s when I take a moment for pictures that I get pictures. Nothing here is frame worthy but it’s the story I enjoy the most. Way too often I tell myself a hundred of excuses not to take a picture, I’m thankful that this moment I pause for a few minutes to snap some pictures.

Tomorrow I’ll share some pictures I took a day after these, they were messed up so hopefully I get a chance to redo them!
This link below is to one of my favorite wildlife photo sessions! If I had not taken the time to go out on Sunday afternoons (for weeks) to look for the Roseate Spoonbills, I’d not be able to say I saw them
Thanks so much for stopping by to read my ramblings! I have a few requests:
- Please consider subscribing if you’d like to be notified of when I post again.
- Share with a friend.
These three items help me to know if I am doing this right. A comment (good or bad) helps me to know what’s working and what’s not.
Thanks!
