This week I’ll focus on some recent photography opportunities I’ve had lately…
I’m trying to work on my capture of sunrises. I’ve said before I’ve only had a few sunrise/sunset photographs I’ve liked. What I’m finding is the moment of watching the sunrise is way better than any picture! And maybe I’ll come away with a decent photo as a second goal.
I start my weekday mornings early. Right now I’m going through the Bible Recap plan with my church, Pauline Baptist. So I start my day usually around 4:00 am do my reading then go workout on Tuesdays and Thursdays or go for a walk (and try to take photographs somewhere) before work. The picture of the morning is from one of these starts to my day. I walked the pond at the University of Arkansas at Monticello (UAM). The pond at UAM is one of my favorite spots to walk and watch the sunrise.

Tomorrow’s post will also be from the UAM pond.
Thanks so much for stopping by to read my ramblings! I have a few requests:
- Please consider subscribing if you’d like to be notified of when I post again.
- Share with a friend.
These three items help me to know if I am doing this right. A comment (good or bad) helps me to know what’s working and what’s not.
Thanks!

-Michael Gilbert
