The posts this week will follow the common theme of long exposure photography again. I setup for a special type of combined photo (which I’ll post Thursday). Before I left to go home I turned my camera to grab a photograph of the Milky Way. This is the setup I mentioned in last week’s encouragement. I could not help but notice how clear the Milky Way was this night. It’s been a while since I’ve taken a picture of it. I’m thankful for the opportunity on this night to not only photograph it but see it.
I sure enjoy photography like this especially in the heat of summer! It’s been a while since I’ve attempted anything like it. I hope you enjoy it too. Tomorrow’s post will be another long exposure type photo setup. Below is a link to one of my favorite type of long exposure setups: The Perseid Meteors!
Thanks so much for stopping by to read my ramblings! I have a few requests:
- Please consider subscribing if you’d like to be notified of when I post again.
- Share with a friend.
These three items help me to know if I am doing this right. A comment (good or bad) helps me to know what’s working and what’s not.
Thanks!

-Michael Gilbert
