Missed The Picture

The other morning before Francine came through the area. I was out early as usual headed back to my house to get my lunch before work. I was in a hurry, I was going to be late for work if I didn’t hurry, I was going to miss seeing my wife and kids before they left for the day if I didn’t hurry…

I was in a hurry!

I looked up and the sunrise was awesome! Once again I had forgot my camera on my desk. Even if I wasn’t in a hurry I could not take a picture (I guess I could have stopped and took one with my phone but I didn’t). I made it to the house, got my lunch and told my family good bye for the day. And grabbed my camera.

Then I headed to work…

I told myself I’d stop on my way to work to snap a photograph. But as sunrises go, it was over. I did stop and take a few pictures but the color was gone. I missed the photograph but the memory of beauty from the creator remains in my mind.

I missed the photograph, BUT…
