Praising My Savior All The Day Long

I’m going to be slowing down my post schedule here for the next little while. As I near my scheduled surgery date I’ll have quite a few thing going on. This is the week of my surgery. Earlier, I asked you for three favors, this week I have the same three favors but have added one to the list:

1. Continue to pray during this time
2. Please listen to a worship song and if you can (or will) please worship with me
3. Get outside, take a picture, email it to me please (mg.blog.71655@gmail.com)
4. Please read scripture, find a scripture verse to memorize then send me what you read (email above).

The verse of scripture I’m sharing today: Psalm 30:2-4

LORD my God, I called to you for help,
and you healed me.
You, LORD, brought me up from the realm of the dead;
you spared me from going down to the pit.
Sing the praises of the LORD, you his faithful people;
praise his holy name.

If you go back to my story, the first part about the “Blue Curtains” is why/how I have this assurance. I love John 3:16 (you might have noticed that). The “whoever believes” get’s me every time I read it. It’s not the special, it’s not the one who have life all together, it’s not…(list the excuses why).

I’m sharing Blessed Assurance again here. Don’t forget:

It is whoever. It is whoever believes in Jesus. Shall not (will not) die. BUT have eternal life.

I believe salvation is as easy as ABC. Admit You’re A Sinner, Believe Jesus Is Lord, Call Upon His Name (Confess).

for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. Romans 3:23-24

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16

 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9
