Yesterday’s post was from a drive out to Lake Monticello I took one morning on my way to work. Today’s post is also from a drive to work one morning recently. I was going in early BUT the view of the sun rising over a pond near my house caught my attention. I thought I should try to get a photo of it one morning soon and kept driving. I got a little ways down the road and told myself to turn around and go take a picture.
It was a frosty morning. I was cold with wet knees but I did just that. I was a little later than I had hoped to be at work but still was a bit early from my usual arrival time. I did not come away with many (if any) favorites but I did get some photos which I’m glad to have gotten as I’ve not seen a scene quite like this one since. I know its coming but just been really rainy and cloudy since this morning.

Same photo as above but processed as black and white:

I think the black and white photo is my favorite from this outing. Leave me a comment if you have a favorite from this post.
Thanks so much for stopping by to read my ramblings! I have a few requests:
- Please consider subscribing if you’d like to be notified of when I post again.
- Share with a friend.
These three items help me to know if I am doing this right. A comment (good or bad) helps me to know what’s working and what’s not.
Thanks!

-Michael Gilbert
