This week I’ll post three posts on a recent ride to the “delta” I recently took. This drive is one of my favorites this time of year as the wildlife viewing opportunities are usually numerous…
This drive started out with a big group of geese feeding near the road. I took a few photos then tried to get closer but jumped them but they landed again just a little bit further away.
But they landed again:
I did see a few Bald Eagles on this outing. I saw this one first, I took these photos and then tried getting closer but spooked it. Just a little sneak hint: this is not the only Bald Eagle photos I got that day. I’ll post more on Thursday.
Ok, here’s another sneak comment: tomorrow’s post will include my favorite photos from this outing. Please stop back by for that post.
Thanks!
Thanks so much for stopping by to read my ramblings! I have a few requests:
- Please consider subscribing if you’d like to be notified of when I post again.
- Share with a friend.
These three items help me to know if I am doing this right. A comment (good or bad) helps me to know what’s working and what’s not.
Thanks!

-Michael Gilbert
