This is post two of my Easter 2025 posts. If you missed yesterday’s post you can find it here.
I cannot imagine that Saturday after the crucifixion. The Disciples did not have the rest of the story as
we do.
(I’ll give you a sneak peak if you do not know, Sunday is Coming)
When it comes to Easter I think of the new life, the salvation, I have through my faith in Jesus Christ. One of my favorite photographs of new life is the one below. It is wildflowers growing after a very large wildfire burned some woods near the town I live in. I started to hunt this property after the fire and was walking through it one day and saw this scene. I’ll never forget the fire. The day it burned I had to go to Mississippi for a meeting with my job. As we drove back home that evening the plume of smoke was visible ahead. I did not know at the time where it was but watched the smoke rise for a while. Then fast forward to sometime later and the burn was still visible but wildflowers were coming up in the burned area. Just as Jesus’s crucifixion was a horrible sight beauty came up after!

Thanks so much for stopping by to read my ramblings! I have a few requests:
- Please consider subscribing if you’d like to be notified of when I post again.
- Share with a friend.
These three items help me to know if I am doing this right. A comment (good or bad) helps me to know what’s working and what’s not.
Thanks!
