A Beautiful Song

Saturday morning I drove out to Lake Monticello before my day really began to take a few pictures. I’ll post my favorite pictures here in a moment but first here’s a few more…

As I pulled into the parking lot this Dove was laying on the boat ramp

These next two pictures are my favorites from the outing. As I pulled into the parking lot and got out of my truck the songs from the birds was beautiful. I could hear this Mocking Bird but couldn’t see it. I set up and waited to see it and take a picture (ok, I snapped more than A picture). It finally flew to the top of the tree and sung it’s song for a few minutes before flying off. I wish I had my audio recorder to record it’s song!
