Backyard Critters

Well this week I want to post a few pictures from my backyard and another spot I spend a lot of my time.

First (of course) is from my garden. The other morning I went down with my camera to see if there was any pollinators on my flowers. There was a lot of bee activity and a few moths. Here’s what I saw…

Ok, no pollinators here. But I liked the photo.
A little bright. The sun was coming and going while I was out there.

These are a bit blurry to me. It was windy, I had a hard time getting the camera to focus and getting the shutter fast enough to get a good still photo…

I’ve been chasing a photo of the geese that roost on Lake Monticello. We were on the back deck relaxing as a family the other evening when a couple flocks of geese flew by headed to roost. So the next evening I set up wanting a photo of the geese…

Well, no geese on this setup. I’ll try again…

Must take a flower photo!

Well there’s the geese. They came by a lot quicker than what I was expecting. I did not get the focus like I like it but check, geese photo done!

Ok, these next photographs are from where I spend a lot of time….my office! On my lunch break I’ve gone out back and snapped a few pictures of the deer that like to hangout behind our office:
