At the end of September 2024 I posted some pictures of some Spider Lily flowers at the end of their bloom.
Well, I had forgotten about them but Wednesday I spotted them starting to bloom so Thursday morning I stopped on my way to work and took a few pictures:
Well as I was leaving for work the sun was getting “right” but I was already a bit later than I wanted so I left and headed to work but that evening I went back for some more photos as the sun was setting:
I think this photo from that morning is my favorite. I did not see the bug (or I would have at least attempted a better focus on it) until just a few minutes ago when I finally stopped to look at the photo.
And hey, nothing says South Arkansas like a few pictures with pine trees in the background!
