As I wrote last week I’m re-reading “Don’t Give The Enemy A Seat At Your Table” By Louie Giglio right now. I just finished it and while it is fresh on my mind I wanted to write another post on it.
My highlights once again in Chapter 10 were a lot. I could just re-write the chapter but if you re a reader and haven’t read it I highly recommend doing so. In chapter 10 Louie Giglio says:
“Here’s the fact: the battle for your life is fought and won in your mind. God wants to take control of your mind, in Jesus’ name, through the power of His Holy Spirit.” He continues, “God is in the story with us, and because He’s in the story with us, we’re ultimately in a story of victory.”

Mr. Giglio continues with a verse of scripture:
“For the mind set on the flesh is death, but the mind set on the Spirit is life and peace”
– Romans 8:6
I’m going to go back up with the quoted line above, “…God is in the story with us…“
Time and time again in my life, when I’ve felt down, I’m encouraged and I know it’s the presence of my heavenly father, my savior Jesus, working through the spirit, the Holy Spirit, in my situation whatever it is at the moment.
He’s the God of My Story!
If you haven’t, set your mind on the spirit. Ask today for God’s spirit in your life! He will forgive your sins and place his Holy Spirit within you.
I believe salvation is as easy as ABC. Admit You’re A Sinner, Believe Jesus Is Lord, Call Upon His Name (Confess).
for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. Romans 3:23-24
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16
If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9
