I’ve taken a few moments the past week to pause, for me the “pause” is stopping to take some photos, to read, or spend time with my family. This week’s post are going to be about pausing and saying:
“It’s going to be ok.”
Just a heads-up, that line is from a bigger quote I’ll share Thursday and where this thought comes from…
My first pause this week was a drive out to Lake Monticello to take a few pictures of the stars. The moon was full and very bright so I only took a few then left to go back home…
Then, I slipped out to my garden to take a few pictures. Most everything is gone but there’s still a few Zinnias holding on and even a few budding out for fresh blooms now…
Ok, more Spider Lilies:
I drove past some more Spider Lilies the other day. I said I’d stop by for some pictures when “I had the time…” So, Friday morning I finally “had the time” so I stopped on my way to work. The flowers had faded some but there were a few fresh blooms coming out…
There was also a Magnolia Tree on my way back to my truck so I stopped for a few pictures…
Yeah, yeah I hear ya! “Pause Michael!”
In my pausing, I find the best peace outside, away from technology, and with family/friends. And if I can combine some of those into a single moment:
EVEN BETTER
I have several “favorites” but above is a one of these moments where I stood with my family watching an eclipse, without technology, in a place where I have more memories than I can count. It’s crazy to me when I pause to look at this photo which looks like sunset but is actually the middle of the day!
I AM THANKFUL!!
This is my story, I’ll testify:
Thanks so much for stopping by to read my ramblings! I have a few requests:
- Please consider subscribing if you’d like to be notified of when I post again.
- Share with a friend.
These three items help me to know if I am doing this right. A comment (good or bad) helps me to know what’s working and what’s not.
Thanks!
