Lake Monticello ( with views from the air)

I had to get gas in my truck and my family was gone so I stopped by Lake Monticello for some pictures the other evening. I was really a bit unsure on my decision making on where to go but with the time that I had I just stopped by the lake and was going to go to the other side to take pictures but ended up sticking to the one side on this outing (and glad I did).

Here come the geese:

Ok, as I was taking the panorama photos of the lake I switched to my zoom lens (the bigma). And as I did I heard a plane coming so I snapped a few pictures before I could get anything ready on my camera for the different lens. I was pretty sure but sent a text to Mr. Bennie Ryburn to verify it was him and it was. He shared with me his photos he had taken. If you look real close you can see the “paparazzi” in a red shirt at the end of the ramp!

It has been a while since I’ve posted a view of Lake Monticello from the air. Here’s the last post with some pictures from Mr. Ryburn (doesn’t seem like it’s been over a year):

Thanks for sharing your pictures Mr. Bennie Ryburn!

Thanks so much for stopping by to read my ramblings! I have a few requests:

  • Please consider subscribing if you’d like to be notified of when I post again.
  • Share with a friend.

These three items help me to know if I am doing this right. A comment (good or bad) helps me to know what’s working and what’s not.

Thanks!
