LOOK TO JESUS!

I had another thought I was going to try to unpack for today but couldn’t find the song I had in mind for this one. Part of the thought was Hebrews 12:2. Since I don’t have a full thought on this one I’m going to post the one short thought I do have and hope to unpack it more coming up.

I see Hebrews 12:1 quoted quite a bit, specifically the “…let us run with endurance the race that is set before us…” part but not much (at least that I usually see) verse 2: “…looking to Jesus…” and that is my thought for today. I need that reminder often:

LOOK TO JESUS

We’re reminded here as we run the race look to Jesus, our savior, the founder, the perfector.

Today as we get closer to the end of the week, will you look to Jesus with me. Even as the negatives fill the mind, LOOK TO JESUS! Even as the shame from mistakes come to mind, LOOK TO JESUS! Even as the good times come up, LOOK TO JESUS! He’s seated at the right hand of the father!

And as we look to Jesus let’s worship OUR Savior a bit!

Let me encourage you, turn your eyes upon Jesus. His name is Jesus, the savior of the world! Do you know HIM?

I believe salvation is as easy as ABC. Admit You’re A Sinner, Believe Jesus Is Lord, Call Upon His Name (Confess).

for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. Romans 3:23-24

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16

 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9
