As I mentioned in my “extra Friday” post last week I went over to Lake Village, AR to attempt photography of Roseate Spoonbills. When I photographed them before (2023) it was a little earlier in the year. But…
I drove to the levee just past Lake Chicot State Park. As I topped the levee I could see some birds and thought they were pink but couldn’t say 100% for sure then I got closer:

Maybe I’ll get another attempt at the spoonbills this year. I was not crazy about these photos as the lighting wasn’t ideal but it was good to see them again!

Thanks so much for stopping by to read my ramblings! I have a few requests:
- Please consider subscribing if you’d like to be notified of when I post again.
- Share with a friend.
These three items help me to know if I am doing this right. A comment (good or bad) helps me to know what’s working and what’s not.
Thanks!
