This week I want to continue a 6 part series sharing songs from a new playlist I’m listening to on YouTube. These songs were put out by “God Behind Bars” from a group of artists who recently spent time at Angola prison. Over the next six weeks I’m going to share one song from the playlist and maybe a thought or two. If you want to listen to all the songs now you can look up God Behind Bars.

Next, on the playlist from Angola is called “My Father’s Song” sung by Mitch Wong
From what I’ve learned this song was inspired by the artists visit to the hospice area of the prison where they visited with the people there then prayed with them. And the song was inspired by Zephaniah 3:17.
Did you know God sings over us. What comfort from this song and verse of scripture to think of the father, the creator of it all, the mighty one, – GOD sings over us.
