Today’s post will be a little personal. What a journey the past year has been. Just a little over a year ago I was in Chicago, IL having my third brain surgery. (third scheduled surgery, there were others in there unscheduled)

Any who, I ended up in Chicago for my third surgery. I was in Chicago for a few weeks then came home and was not released to return to work for a little while until November 18, 2024. How do you remember that date you may be wondering. Well it is my birthday, so yes for my birthday I was cleared to return to work (what a gift!). Well I just had my one year check up. Where once again I had another MRI then the data was sent to my surgeon in Chicago to review.

I got on social media the other day and read comments from a pot I wrote to update on things from my surgery. The comments on that post lead me to tears again. I’m so thankful for SO many who have prayed for me and continue to do just that. From my caretakers here at home who take (and took) care of me to the new caretakers I received in Chicago, IL.

I’M THANKFUL!
