The Gator: (Some photos with AG – part 2)

Today, I’m continuing my share of photos taken with my daughter recently…

We recently took a trip over to the “delta” and due to to some poor planning and a government shutdown we couldn’t get to our planned destination so we made a quick pause for another outing on our way back home to make something out of the trip since it didn’t go as planned. While my wife and son went one direction my daughter, AG, stayed with me to take pictures. Over the next couple of weeks I’ll share the photos we took. I have no idea which ones she took or I took as we were sharing the camera. I’d be fine with saying she took them all. I enjoyed the time of getting to take the pictures with her and am proud of how far she’s come in learning photography. Her “eye” in picture taking is different than mine for sure!

We were down by the hydro dam taking pictures about to head to the truck and leave when some gentlemen walked up and saw we were taking pictures. They told us there was a gator on a log on the way out if we wanted to look for it and take some pictures. So we left and spotted the gator so we stopped and watched it for a while before it left the log! The kids really enjoyed watching the alligator!

Ok, there’s one more picture from this outing that I’ll share after Christmas. Next week I plan to share some special Christmas posts then I’ll return to the regular routine…
