A few days ago we watched the series A Small Light about a lady, Miep Gies, who helped the Frank family during the Holocaust. It’s a unique story on the Franks. We’ve all heard of Anne Frank but to see her story from the one who helped her family hide was a unique perspective. At the end of the series they showed a quote from Ms. Gies that really struck me:
“But even an ordinary secretary or a housewife or a teenager can, within their own small ways, turn on a small light in a dark room.” -Miep Gies
As we watched the series I thought of the struggle these people were in. BUT, even an ordinary person can help. They can turn on a small light in darkness. I may never know who I may help, but I do know I’ve been delivered, helped, called to be a light.
So with that thought:

Turn On A Light (even a small one)
