I needed my eyes opened. I was down and doubting BUT THEN I was invited to a retreat (I realize I mentioned it last week). At this retreat me and several other guys disconnected from life for 48 hours. I did not know what time it was, I did not have my phone (it was just what I needed). I sat under preaching, worship, testimonies, etc…It was the time I needed unlike any other I’ve ever experienced. There will be another retreat coming in about a month in Conway, AR then another in South Arkansas in September. I could not recommend these retreats more! Have you ever been down? Ever felt alone in it all? Just like my reading the other day pointed me to the reminder from 2 Kings where Elisha’s servant was worried until Elisha prayed his eyes be opened. Upon him seeing they were surrounded by God’s army his worries stopped.
What worries you? Maybe you need the reminder today, HE surrounds us. HE is always near and sometimes may send you on a retreat moment for the reminder!
