I hope to portray a theme this week of times to sit in contentment, to sit in peace, to sit in the presence of HIM who created it all…
My favorite place to sit in peace is under the night sky and watching the stars. To see the big dipper in the night sky is peaceful…
What I do not realize when watching the stars is the Earth we sit on is moving. I do not often think about it but we are in constant movement. Even when I don’t think about it there is movement…
Note: the gaps here are from trouble I was having with my cable shutter release and my attempt at removing airplane streaks from the photo (there were two airplanes that flew by while I was out there).
This was several photos taken in a little over 30 minutes then processed/combined in photoshop to create the “star trail photograph”.
Just a note I’ll post some more star photos tomorrow….
