Thank you for signing up to read the book of Esther together. As I mentioned I’ll be adding some commentary into our weekly reading to help in the study. There’s only one book to purchase to help with this. It is Courage by Mark Clements. It is a book I’ve read through multiple times and hopefully you’ll enjoy the study as well. We will not add this in until week three so you’ve got time to order it. I’ll put a link to the book from Amazon below.
In this plan I’ll be suggesting reading Esther weekly in different versions of the bible plus adding in commentary sources to go along. My suggestion is to read it first then do the commentary video after reading. In week three/four when we read Courage I’d suggest reading the book after you read the chapter of Esther it goes along with. After you finish Courage I encourage you go to move forward in the extra plan. I’ve intentionally given two week to read Courage to make sure it gets finished.
If during the week you finish Esther in the version suggested and the commentary I’d suggest starting the cycle over and re-reading Esther in the version of the bible already mentioned.
If you do not have the version you can find it in the Bible application on your phone or resources online (both free). I simply picked these versions because it’s what I have.
I like the SOAP reading plan. Typically I use it for verses not entire books so if you need to shrink the book of Esther down to SOAP the chapter or single verses then please do so. If you need to discuss any of these please use the contact form to send me a message.

Week Four: Continue to read Esther in CSB bible and read chapter of Courage with each chapter of Esther in bible.
