Snack Time

For today’s Tuesday Garden update we’ll be doing a little snacking on my Sun Gold Tomatoes but first let’s check on the pollinator garden. I was out looking at the plot last night and was amazed by the butterflies and other insects flying around it. I tried to catch a photo of a butterfly but never could. I did get a photo of a fly.

Volunteer Tomatoes

This is probably our third summer to have volunteer tomatoes growing by the chicken coop. They typically are a cherry type tomato. The plants are blooming now. When we had chickens we’d feed the extra from the garden a lot so the plants probably came from then. The plants have come up in the same spot each year by the part of the pen I used as a smaller cage for a rabbit then as a grow out pen for young chicks. I’ll post an update once the tomatoes start to produce. Typically they are loaded and we get plenty to snack on!

Snack Time!

It’s been raining quite a bit here lately in the evening so I haven’t been able to get out to the garden as much as I like after work. A few days ago I got out and found my Sun Gold Tomatoes were loaded with ripe tomatoes. Snack Time! Sun Gold cherry tomatoes have become my favorite cherry tomato and I plant them every year from seed started from Hoss Tools.

I want to say thanks for stopping by to read my ramblings. To say thanks more I have a few free phone wallpapers here.

Please do me a favor, if you enjoyed the post please share it with a friend.

Thank So Much! -Michael
