Harvesting Sunflowers (Again)

Not much is going on in the garden with this heat. I cut the last bit of my Mongolian Giant Sunflowers this weekend and stored the heads in a bin to dry then give the birds this winter (I’m ready for some cold weather!) I think the later heads were bigger the the earlier ones. Next year I will plant them more staggered in both planting time and row space to hopefully get bigger sunflower heads.
