Ok, that picture proves it for those of you wondering…I do have a brain! This is from my six month checkup after surgery and the photo is from the MRI I had along with the checkup. My surgeon told me everything looks great and he’ll see me at my one year checkup/MRI in November. The thing I was looking at in this MRI is the “black hole” in the center. That is my brainstem. That is where this issue started. The brain growths (tumor) was putting pressure on my brainstem and caused it to be mis shaped which caused some neurological issues (worst pain I’ve ever experienced). It is good for me to see it looking more circular for sure.
There’s still a few small areas of tumor (benign) which my surgeon will be watching but for now there’s not any issue.
From this experience I’ve had many ups an downs as well as some amazing support along the way. There’s no way I can cover everyone here but I’m thankful!
Again, this is my story, this is my song, praising my Savior all the day long!

Surgery/Chicago Posts:
I cannot believe this was over six months ago! I’ll say it again:

As I wrote in “Plans Change” Psalm 56:8 hit me hard during this time:
You yourself have recorded my wanderings.
Put my tears in your bottle.
Are they not in your book? – Psalm 56:8 (CSB)

Thanks so much for stopping by to read my ramblings! I have a few requests:
- Please consider subscribing if you’d like to be notified of when I post again.
- Share with a friend.
These three items help me to know if I am doing this right. A comment (good or bad) helps me to know what’s working and what’s not.
Thanks!
