In the daily Bible reading plan by Nicky and Pippa Gumbel I’m challenged each morning but have been especially been challenged the past two mornings. The devotionals have been focused on contentment and praise. A few notes from the reading:
“I know how to be brought low, and I know how to abound. In any and every circumstance, I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and need.” – Philippians 4:12

I put my faith in Jesus My anchor to the ground
My hope and firm foundation He’ll never let me down
…to sit in contentment, to sit in peace, to sit in the presence of HIM who created it all…
Can you sit in contentment, in peace, in HIS presence? do you know the Savior of the world, Jesus?
I believe salvation is as easy as ABC. Admit You’re A Sinner, Believe Jesus Is Lord, Call Upon His Name (Confess).
for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. Romans 3:23-24
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16
If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9
