Cotton Photos

As I go through life it is my goal to bring praise to his name who created it all!

“…Christ will be exalted in my body…”

A couple weeks ago I had to take my son to a birthday party east of town. I said I would take him then go back to Lake Village to look for Roseate Spoonbills. But I looked at the setting sun and time on my way and was worried I’d not have enough daylight for pictures with my longer lens. I decided to stop in the “delta” around Dermott, AR and try to get some photos there.

The cotton was right at harvest and very full. I had a great time taking pictures and being out (but the mosquitos about carried me off)! I’m very glad I stopped at Dermott as the cotton was mostly harvested by the next weekend.

Every time I see a Sycamore Tree I think of a certain song from my childhood: “Zacchaeus…”
The rising moon on this evening was a sight to see!
Repeat from above but I converted it to black and white this time.

Thanks so much for stopping by to read my ramblings! I have a few requests:

  • Please consider subscribing if you’d like to be notified of when I post again.
  • Share with a friend.

These three items help me to know if I am doing this right. A comment (good or bad) helps me to know what’s working and what’s not.

Thanks!
