As I go through life it is my goal to bring praise to his name who created it all!
“…Christ will be exalted in my body…”
It’s Saturday and because it has been finally raining some I needed a project this morning ( it was too wet to mow – before another round of rain)! I worked on my Zinnia plot – it was a mess. I believe because of the dry weather a lot of my garden is behind this year. I was looking back at some posts here on the blog from last year and I was posting Zinnia bloom photos in June. Yes, I know it is not June yet but these plants are not close to blooming yet but hopefully the work I did today plus the rain will help. I also bought a Salvia plant to put at the end of the plot. I had another plant my wife had bought but didn’t want on one end so I had to balance it out a little. I did notice there’s a lot of “volunteers” from last year’s dropped seeds mixed up in the plot. I believe last year’s plot was nearly all volunteers but I did put some seeds down this year because I didn’t see any plants coming (I’m impatient). Well let me quit the rambling and share some photos:
What a mess!
Well, it looks a little better now. I wanted to do more but it was thundering and I didn’t want to get wet so I stopped working for the day. It is still raining (3 hours later) so I haven’t been back out today.
Well, that looks a little better!
I’ve got more I need to work on. Hopefully with the long weekend I can one day soon. A picture I need to share here may be all the ant bites got on my arm when I unknowingly got in an ant bed at one point, and before I knew it my arm was covered!
I did get more done since I was off work Monday. The left side as you view the middle picture above looks a lot better!
Looking at these pictures it still needs some work but it is a start!
