Back To Some Cooler Temperatures!

As I go through life it is my goal to bring praise to his name who created it all!

“…Christ will be exalted in my body…”

Well, I don’t want any misunderstanding here. I’m not a fan of the “dog days” of summer! Some tell me how much they love summer and I just shake my head. The story I like to tell this time of year is what my grandfather used to say. He’d always say, “why did our ancestors stop here?” As a friend reminded me the other day more bearable days are coming, I can’t wait!

So for this week’s post I’m going to go back to some backyard photos I took back in June. I was sharing some of these earlier before I shared the Oregon photos. I’ve not been out for more photographs this week so I’m going to keep sharing these. I’m going to split this day into two so I have some pictures to share if needed coming up. I have some ideas on future photography outings but I haven’t gotten to those yet!

First up is a flower from the flower bed I took a picture of on my way to my garden

These pears drive me crazy (especially when I mow) but are pretty in bloom!
Ok, this rabbit had just previously jumped in our pool and thankfully my family was out there to dip it out! I only had my wide angled lens on my camera so I did not get a close up picture after it ran down next to the garden and started to eat grass.

Well, that’ll be all I’ll share this week. As I said I do have a few more photographs from this evening in my backyard but I’ll hold on to them to help stretch my posts along for these hot days (and times of high gas prices) we’re in!

Thanks so much for stopping by to read my ramblings! I have a few requests:

  • Please consider subscribing if you’d like to be notified of when I post again.
  • Share with a friend.

These three items help me to know if I am doing this right. A comment (good or bad) helps me to know what’s working and what’s not.

Thanks!
