A Starry Morning

As I go through life it is my goal to bring praise to his name who created it all!

I wake up early in the morning on weekdays. I enjoy the quiet stillness of the early morning so I set my alarm for 3:00 am. Typically as I’m getting ready to start my day I have to fight myself to not go back to sleep but I really enjoy my quiet mornings.

Right now, I walk about an hour in my neighborhood then sit for a little while in my driveway to pray and be still for a bit. A few mornings ago I finally did what I’ve said I was going to do for a while and snapped a few photos of the early morning sky before going in to read for a little while. You see, as I sit I’m usually under a clear sky looking at the stars so that’s the pictures I took:

This is the first picture I took. I did not get as much star detail in this one due to the light from town you may notice on the right side.

The second photo I took that morning. I panned my camera a little to the left and snapped this one away from the city lights.

I enjoy photography (especially star photography this time of year). We’ll see if I get out for anything other than star photos in the next few weeks!
